Bria Lee has debuted a new remix of her breakout single “One Shot” featuring Fat Joe, courtesy of Pitbull. The new dance-inducing song is premiering exclusively on Billboard today (April 4).
The Rhode Island native brings Amy Winehouse-esque vocals to the enticing hook, giving a jazzy vibe to an otherwise thumping, reggaeton-tinged track. “So I drink the fight away, I sleep another day/ My broken record plays/ And if you chose to stay, I’ll drink the fight away,” she soulfully sings.
Meanwhile, Mr. 305 and the legendary Bronx rapper bring their respective fun-loving bars throughout the track for a summer-approved addition to the tune.
“Having Fat Joe be a part of ‘One Shot’ was pretty epic. But now to have Pitbull hear the song and want to be a part of it is a perfect way to blend soul with a street edge,” Lee tells Billboard. “I love how Pitbull’s flow adds an international vibe. I hope you enjoy the ‘One Shot’ Remix!”

The singer-songwriter signed to Republic Records in 2018, after moving to New York City and wedging her way into restaurant gigs in between waiting tables. Lee also released the track “Purple Clouds” last year, giving listeners another taste of her genre-defying sound.
